Mask made to be worn by the director of my SCA choir, Concentus.

(for those who don't know, the SCA - Society for Creative Anachronism - is a medieval living history organization. its like historical reanactment meets larping. sorta.)

At Yule, we sing wrenning songs; they're medieval songs about the wren, who's traditionally the king of all birds, sung at christmas by rowdy young boys while carolling. My choir director wears this wren mask while we sing!




made in one afternoon from a store-bought plastic mask form, linen, hot glue, acrylic paint and real bird feathers (some from my own chickens!)

thats me modelling btw ^^
